As a UI and UX designer, developing a medical application aimed at optimizing patient care for nurses was an exciting and complex challenge. An in-depth research and user analysis was carried out to understand the needs and challenges of nurses and other healthcare professionals who would be using the application. The application's main objectives were defined based on this initial research, such as improving care efficiency, reducing patient waiting times, and increasing accuracy in recording medical information.

Initial sketches of the user interface were created, focusing on the structure and arrangement of elements, using wireframing tools. Interactive prototypes were developed to test navigation flows and main functionalities. After validating the prototypes, the visual design of the application was worked on, including selection of color palette, typography, icons and other visual elements.

During iterative development, close collaboration with the development team ensured that the design was implemented effectively and that all functionality was integrated smoothly. Usability tests were conducted and adjustments were made as necessary. Rigorous testing of the app was carried out with nurses and other stakeholders before launch, identifying potential usability issues or bugs.

After the app was launched, performance was continuously monitored and user feedback was collected. Based on these insights, continuous adjustments and improvements were made to ensure the app met the needs of healthcare professionals. The main focus was to create an intuitive, efficient and user-centric user experience that helps improve nurses' workflow and improves the quality of care provided to patients.
